Seeking Licensed Massage Therapist to join our Reclaim med spa team!

Position Summary:
At Avina Women's care our focus is the journey of women's health. At our medical aesthictics spa a Massage Therapist is responsible for providing relaxation or treating body pain and discomfort through physical touch and moving a clients muscles, while ensuring a relaxing and calming atmosphere is provided at all times during the service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide massages to clients by appointment.
• Guide clients through service offerings and the massage process.
• Take a detailed client history and note any applicable health concerns.
• Evaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body.
• Advise clients on stretching, strengthening, or relaxation methods.
• Suggest future massage appointments.
• Listen to client concerns and adjust techniques as appropriate.
• Ensure client comfort and safety at all times.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and well-organized environment in which to conduct massages.
• Maintain professional and positive attitude and appearance at all times.
• Display active commitment to the mission, vision and values of Avina Womens Care.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent client care skills, including compassion and self-motivation.
• Personality and demeanor to deal with the public and work closely with a wide variety of employees and patients.
• Verbal and non-verbal communication skills to communicate with staff, patients, physicians and visitors.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• May be required to bend, reach and lift up to 25 pounds as needed throughout the day.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Superb interpersonal skills.
• Hearing adequate to hear clients in person and over the phone.

Education, Work Experience and Licensure:

• Certification: Licensed massage therapist certificated required; Certified Prenatal Massage Therapist highly desired,

Job Types: Part-time, Commission

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 24 per week
