Early Voting for November 3 General Election Begins Tomorrow

Early in-person voting for the November 3 General Election begins Tuesday, October 6 at the Franklin County Board of Elections, 1700 Morse Road.

As of 2:30 pm today, the Board will also begin mailing 68,515 absentee ballots Tuesday to Franklin County voters who have submitted a valid absentee ballot application.

“Voters can begin casting their ballots at our office tomorrow, and we will begin mailing ballots to voters with valid applications,” said Franklin County Board of Elections Director Antone White. “Before you vote, take a look at your sample ballot so you know what will be on it.”

Early voting hours for the first three weeks are:
·        October 6–9: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
·        October 12–16: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
·        October 19–23: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
·        Saturday, October 24: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Ohio law now requires absentee ballots to be received by the Board of Elections no later than 7:30 p.m. on Election Day. Voters returning their ballot by mail should allow sufficient time for delivery.

Completed absentee ballots may also be returned to the Franklin County Board of Elections at 1700 Morse Road, including through the secure 24-hour drop box located outside the Board office.

Voters can check their registration, view their sample ballot, find their Election Day polling location and track their absentee ballot at www.vote.franklincountyohio.gov.
