DESCRIPTION:The Women in Business Luncheon will be held at The Country Club at Muirfield Village!\n\n\n\nYou're invited to "A Conversation About Women's Health: Sharing an Updated Approach to Staying Healthy" with One Medical's Chief Strategy Officer\, Jenni Vargas\, on July 19\, 2023 at The Country Club at Muirfield Village\, 8715 Muirfield Dr.\, Dublin.\n\n\n\nJenni is a mother and grandmother who has spent her entire 40-year career in health care\, starting out in the insurance industry\, then working for an academic medical center\, and now a healthcare start up that has been acquired by Amazon.  Not only has she worked in the field\, but she has experienced health care challenges up-close and personal as a breast cancer patient.  \n\n\n\nJenni leads a variety of strategically important functions for One Medical including real estate\, payer strategy\, new initiatives and strategic service lines\, and on-site employer strategy. Before joining One Medical\, she was the Chief Strategy Officer at Stanford Health Care for ten years. She led business development\, marketing\, digital health\, and government and community relations. During her time there\, she also led the development of Stanford Health Care Alliance\, an accountable care organization purchased by Google\, Cisco\, and Stanford University. Jenni holds a bachelor's degree in human biology from Stanford University and an MBA from UCLA.\n\n\n\nWe are looking forward to learning about Jenni's journey to her leadership role at One Medical and also hearing some of her thoughts about improving health care for women!
