DESCRIPTION:Joining a Dublin Chamber committee is a great way to get involved\, meet area business leaders and help set the direction of your Chamber.\n\nThe Dublin Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs\, Advocacy & Development Committee keeps tabs on policies and projects that affect local businesses. In addition\, this group helps keep Chamber members informed on hot community topics including the 1-270-US 33 Interchange\, businesses looking to expand or locate to our community\, the Bridge Street Corridor project and more.\n\n\n\nAt this meeting\, Ferzan Ahmed\, Deputy Director with ODOT\, and a few members of his team will be our special guests to discuss REBUILDING FOR THE FUTURE:\n\n\n\nThe I-270 / US 33 interchange is the most heavily traveled piece of roadway in Dublin. The outdated design means that the current infrastructure can't keep pace with the remarkable growth in and around Dublin. ODOT\, the City of Dublin and the Mid Ohio Regional Planning Commission are proud to work together to rebuild this interchange to make travel safer and more efficient\, and to accommodate increased traffic from future growth. ODOT District Six will manage the two-year project which starts in late Spring. The ODOT District Six Deputy Director\, Ferzan Ahmed\, will share project details\, including anticipated timelines\, closures detours and impacts.  Ferzan will share ODOT's commitment to working with the community to keep everyone informed and travel through the construction zone is safe.\n\nThis meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Dublin Chamber\, 129 S. High St. in Historic Dublin.\n\n\nBy attending a Chamber event you are granting permission to the Dublin Chamber of Commerce\, the Dublin Chamber Civic Foundation and anyone authorized by the Chamber to have unlimited right\, without charge\, to use your likeness in photos\, videos\, recordings and in all media now known or hereafter created to be used and distributed in perpetuity for promotional and publicity purposes. By attending an event you agree to release the Dublin Chamber of Commerce and Dublin Chamber Civic Foundation\, their staff\,board of directors\, members and their partners from any liability.
