DESCRIPTION:Community Service Day brings together volunteers of all ages to help area senior citizens\, Dublin schools and non-profit organizations with spring clean up and outdoor projects. The success of this event can be measured not only by the lives enhanced\, but also in the sense of community pride it fosters.\n\n \n\nPlease help us with this event by volunteering to help individually or with a group. All ages are welcomed and encouraged to participate. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult! And\, everyone must complete the online waiver form to participate. (Parents and/or legal guardians must register & sign a waiver form for all children under the age of 18.)\n\nIf you are volunteering as part of a group\, please identify the group name while registering.\n\nVolunteer Check In\n\nVolunteers should meet at the Dublin Community Recreation Center\, 5600 Post Road in Dublin on Saturday\, May 4 and register from 8:30 to 9 a.m. At this time\, volunteers will:\n\n\n Meet Their Team Leader and Learn About Specific Project Assignments - Including Driving Directions\n Receive a Volunteer T-Shirt (While Supplies Last\, On a First-Come\, First-Served Basis When You Arrive at the Dublin Recreation Center)\n Enjoy a Light Breakfast\n\n\nVolunteers are also encouraged to return to the Dublin Community Recreation Center from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. to enjoy a complimentary lunch.\n\n\n\nWhat should I wear and/or bring on Saturday\, May 4?\n\nDress for the weather and for yard work. All projects are done outdoors! We suggest that you bring the following and label all personal items with your name and phone number:\n\n\n Work Gloves / Garden Gloves & work boots/shoes\n Landscaping Tools / Gardening Tools\n Bottled Water\n Sunscreen\n\n\nSponsorship Opportunities\n\nIf your business is committed to serving the Dublin community\, and believes in the power of teamwork... then\, Community Service Day provides a great platform for you to get noticed.
