At this Online Women in Business session, Dr. Tracey Deagle, the new Dublin City Schools Deputy Superintendent, will discuss "Fostering a Positive Climate and Strong Culture."
Dr. Tracey R. Deagle has a Master's in Public Administration and Policy from Indiana University and a PhD in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton. There, her research focused on the role of an educational leader that heads a building and how those individuals can foster a positive climate and strong culture. She continues teaching courses at UD that focus on Assessment, Curriculum, and Research. Tracey is a past member of the Ohio State Board of Education, having been appointed by Governor Ted Strickland. While there, she served during the adoption of the Common Core Standards and as a member of the Governor's Early Childhood Education Advisory. A past high school social studies teacher, Dr. Deagle most recently was the Principal of Davis Middle School (Dublin). In fall of 2019, she began her role serving as the first female Deputy Superintendent of Dublin City Schools where her first task is managing elementary and middle school redistricting due to the construction of three new schools.
