Owlets preschoolers enjoy three (3) half-days of hands-on immersion in nature through hikes, games, stories and the opportunity to learn how to feed and care for the smaller wild animal residents at Ohio Wildlife Center, such as turtles, squirrels, birds, opossums and rabbits. Campers will learn animals’ basic needs of food, water, shelter and space, (and for pet animals, toys and love!) as well as how to behave safely around both wild and domestic animals. Campers will explore the wetlands and ponds at Ohio Wildlife Center in depth. Our new Living Lab study area will provide a place for campers to hold specimens and identify and observe them. Even our youngest campers will enjoy utilizing the tools and technology to bring microscopic aquatic organisms to larger-than-life for easier study.
