Take a walk with an artist in Dublin’s Llewellyn Farms Park, 4850 Tuttle Rd., on Tuesday May 17 from 4 to 5 p.m. Artist Andrea Myers will focus on emerging and fallen leaves, encouraging participants to collect, inspect and arrange their finds in a natural collage. Myers is a multidisciplinary artist focusing on textiles, paper, installation, patterning and saturated color. She is an Assistant Professor of Sculpture and Expanded Media at Kent State University-Stark in North Canton, Ohio. The series is inspired by Dublin Arts Council’s Fractals: Patterns in Nature project, which explores how repeating patterns reduce stress and enhance individual and community well-being. The series is free of charge and is appropriate for all ages. The walks are paced and activities require mobility on park paths.
