The City of Dublin, in partnership with the Wesley G. Davids Dublin Post 800 of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Dublin Post 10691, will host the annual Memorial Day Parade & Observance on Monday, May 30. The day’s events will honor veterans who lost their lives in service to our country.

Dublin resident Master Sergeant Sean Clifton, a retired Green Beret who was shot multiple times while conducting a raid on a Taliban compound in 2009, will serve as the keynote speaker at the noon commemoration.
SR 161/ Bridge Street will be closed from 11 a.m. to noon between Dale Drive and Monterey Drive for the parade. Due to construction in the area, there are no sidewalks east of the bridge. Those who park at The Shoppes at River Ridge to participate in the parade should make plans to have a ride to retrieve their cars.
