Gary Glazner Poetry Presentation ~ Easing Alzheimer's and Dementia Communication

Dublin Assisted Living & Memory Support by Senior Star is pleased to host internationally recognized speaker, poet and author Gary Glazner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4 in the independent living building at 6470 Post Road, Dublin. This workshop provides an introduction to strategies for caregivers, both professionals and family members, in creating and performing poems, songs, stories and movement with people living with memory loss.

Glazner, the founder and executive director of the Alzheimer's Poetry Project (APP), facilitates the creativity of people living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia by guiding readers in using poetry and the arts to increase interaction and encourage amusement and joy.
