DWCP: Sweet Cases for foster children

The Dublin Women’s Philanthropic Club (DWPC) invites members of the community to attend a philanthropic program at the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, 716 Mt. Airyshire Blvd., Suite 100, Columbus, Ohio on Jan. 17, 2018 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Guests will learn about the organization and its mission, and will create Sweet Cases, canvas duffel bags that contain personal care items, coloring books, a blanket and stuffed animal for children who travel from one foster home to another, often with all their personal belongings in just a trash bag. Participation in this free event is limited and RSVPs are required. Guests do not need to be members of Dublin Women’s Philanthropic Club to attend and may also choose to sponsor a complete Sweet Case for $25. Donations of other amounts are also accepted.
