"A Plein Air Odyssey: New England to New Foundland" exhibition by Susi Havens-Be

Join us for an exhibition by artist Susi Havens-Bezaire that will take you on trip through the states. Susi's Plein Air and Studio oil paintings are like looking through a window at some of the most serene landscapes across the nation. This exhibition features over 15 works from Susi's nine month Plein Air Odyssey trip, painting from Arizona to Alaska in 2013 and then leading a summer expedition of Plein Air Odyessy through Maine and the Atlantic Provinces of Canada, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island Newfoundland and Quebec. Their Maritime oil landscapes will make you forget that winter is here. Susi began her formal art training at the Columbus College of Art and Design in 2002, where she discovered a passion for oil painting and representational art-particularly in the plein air format. Since 2006, she has participated in many short, intense workshops with highly regarded plein air painters. Susi is one of the charter members of Ohio Plein Air Society and currently on the Board of Trustees. She is an active member of Oil Painters of America, Adirondack Mountain Painters, Tucson Plein Air Painters Society and the American Impressionists Society.
