The Superintendent’s Student Advisory Committee is sponsoring its 9th annual Dublin City Schools Dodgeball Championships on April 1 at 7 p.m. at Dublin Scioto.
This year’s beneficiaries of the tournament are: Blessings in a Backpack, The Wounded Warrior Project, and the Lyndsey Rice and Kyle Colello Memorial Scholarship Funds.
The entrance fee is $25 per team, but the Central Office/Board of Education team will be donating more to this year’s causes. The Central Office/Board team challenges all adult staff teams to also donate beyond the $25 entrance fee.
You can follow the latest tournament news on Twitter @DublinDodgeball.
Teams consist of 6-10 players, with six players per team on the court at one time. The winning teams will be awarded the Dublin City Schools Dodgeball Championship trophy that currently resides at the schools of last year’s champions.
We will again have student and adult divisions of the tournament. Student teams will be selected at the school building level.
If your adult team would like to compete on April 1, please RSVP to info@dublinschools.net no later than Friday, March 18.
Admission to the tournament is $5 and 100% of all proceeds go to this year’s beneficiaries.
Get your team dodgeball T-Shirts from the Dublin Business Academy. T-Shirts are $10, with $4 from each shirt purchased being donated to the fundraising efforts of the event. Orders are due by Friday, March 18. For details and order information please visit: http://www.dublinschools.net/dodgeball.aspx.
